I trained, originally, as a psychiatric nurse and then continued to work on the Regional Secure Unit, as a staff nurse for
a total of 10 years at the Maidstone Hospital. As well as counselling, I also qualified in massage. Following a back injury, for which I tried a variety of treatments, I was eventually introduced to McTimoney Chiropractic. It worked so well for me that I was hooked! I trained at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, Abingdon, qualifying in 1992 and set up the Coxheath Chiropractic Clinic in 1993. I have worked at the college since qualifying as both a clinical and practical tutor and continue my role as Senior technique instructor to the present day. In 2010 I ran my second London Marathon raising funds for cancer charities. My claim to fame: In 2009, and again in 2017, as part of our team, Coxheath 'til I pie, we became the Official World Custard Pie Champions. |
